Our Fargo Village emporium is currently showing work by two artists: Oliver Varney, who lives in Warwickshire, and Alexander Adams. Both studied Fine Art and Art History at Goldsmiths College.
Alexander paints snowscapes in black and white and has since gone on to exhibit his paintings around Europe. He writes criticism for The Art Newspaper, The Financial Times, Printmaking Today, The Jackdaw and other publications.
On Sunday 29th November at 3pm, Alexander will be here to read an extract from his latest poem ‘On Dead Mountain’, a true mystery set in the Russian mountains. He will be happy to do a brief Q & A and share a coffee afterwards where signed copies of his book will also be on sale.
You can take a look at Alexander’s website here.
