We are pleased to announce the brilliant acoustic folk artist, Nick Jackson will be playing at our next Live Music Friday on the 1st of March! And you only have to listen to his music to see why!
Nick’s music is inspired by the green hills of England, combining his unique vocals and rustic folk style to mix the traditional with the present.
Influenced by Laura Marling, Jackie Oates, The Unthanks, Bon Iver and Jez Hellard. Nick makes folk his own, using a loop pedal live and a diverse range of instruments in the studio. With plans to include banjo, violin and percussion in live performances, to produce a beautiful collection of songs, whether live or recorded.
Nick is most at home when on stage, and has played with many bands including Blue 52, Jez Hellard and the Roving Blades and Fountain at a plethora of venues across Birmingham and Leicester, with the odd show down south, nearer his home.
Starting at 7pm AND with a whole new lot of beers (check out the blog), it’s going to be a fab one!
