New Artwork at the JQ

You may have noticed some beautiful new paintings in our Jewellery Quarter emporium giving our peaceful urban haven some very rural decoration and we thought you might like to know a little more about the man that created them…

Paul Langford has his roots firmly planted in the local area, being the son of a manufacturing jeweller and born in the city in 1950. He has been working in a studio near the bull ring since 2000 following a 28 year break from painting and paints in oil, acrylic and mixed media. Paul takes his inspiration from the natural world and the human condition, he believes his landscapes offer a sense of emotion rather than place, offering the viewer a window into another world. We certainly think that they offer the perfect backdrop to our emporium.

Paul prices his work very reasonably as he loves to encourage ownership of original pieces so if you see something you fancy please let us know! (we are happy to accept cash or cheque payments)
