‘What is it to be human?’ Exhibition @ Fargo
10th Jun 2015

At the end of June our Fargo Village emporium is pleased to announce an exhibition featuring the work of not one but two wonderful artists!

Working in partnership with Warwickshire Open Studios, local sculptor David Dewis’ thought-provoking metalworks make a perfect accompaniment to the photographs of Coventry based photographer Nicola Young. Their combined talents can be seen together for the first time from Saturday 27th June to Sunday 12th July.

Alongside the exhibition David will be offering the chance for people to join him in a day of exploration in designing and making. His sculpture workshops ‘Design by Shadows’ will take place in the emporium throughout the exhibition and will be inspired by shadows. Entrance to the exhibition will be free of charge, but a £70 fee applies for workshops which will include all materials, a light lunch and a lot of fun! Bookings are subject to availability – please call David on 07775 802113 or email him on daviddewis69@yahoo.com for further details.

Nicola Young divides her time between the world of theatre and travelling but always with a camera by her side and was shortlisted in the highly respected Travel Photographer of the Year in 2013 and 2014 as well as achieving a winning place in 2014’s Urban Photographer of the Year. For more details of her work visit her website here.
