UK Coffee Week, being held this year from 23rd-29th April, is the nation’s biggest celebration of the coffee and food service industry and raises money for Project Waterfallwhich funds clean water projects in African coffee-producing countries.

From Monday to Thursday, we will be focusing on a different single estate coffee every day, highlighting different brewing methods for each. Come Friday, the loyal few who have sampled each filter during the week (and have the stamp to prove it!) will have the opportunity to try an exclusive coffee courtesy of Union Hand Roasted!

Also on Friday, we will be putting YOU to the test by tweeting and posting Facebook questions about each coffee, get all of the answers correct to be entered into a draw to win a Hario V60 and a bag of coffee!

The staff are starting to get quite excited as some of them are due to head down south to the London Coffee Festival! Held at the end of UK Coffee Week, their will be talks and demonstrations by some of the worlds top baristas and roasteries, as well as the finals to this years UKBC! Any budding coffee enthusiasts out there or even if anyone is just  free this weekend we strongly recommend you give it a look-see!

The purpose of UK Coffee Week is to fund clean drinking water projects in Africa – will you be making a donation?
