Teachers Meet up at Church St

In my dark and distant pre-Urban past, I was a Primary School teacher in Devon. This meant a lovely seven hours teaching small children all sorts of exciting facts, but a hideous three hours each evening marking books, planning lessons and completing paperwork. It was boring, lonely and repetitive.

If you are a teacher, or know a teacher, this will sound familiar. To encourage myself to work, whenever possible I would take my laptop and books to a lovely independent coffee shop with a few other teachers and do everything there.

So, because we are a lovely independent coffee shop, we want to invite all teachers to come into Church Street on a Sunday afternoon from noon, take advantage of our free wifi and amazing coffee and do all your marking and planning to set you up for Monday morning.

We have free on-street parking, so you won’f have far to lug all the books and you can meet new people to chat with and maybe steal their worksheets.

If you would like us to send you out  a poster to stick on the staff room wall or anymore info contact jenny@urbancoffee.co.uk
