Some of our more observant customers may have noticed a new piece of furniture upstairs in the book corner of our store. Well, we thought it was about time that we explained ourselves and who better to do so than the Birmingham based entrepreneur and Co-Founder of www.bean2bed.com, Matt Roberts:

Hi there,

My name is Matt Roberts and I am the Co-Founder of www.Bean2Bed.com. All of us at Bean2Bed are delighted to be partnering with such an amazing local coffee shop and give Urban Coffee customers the chance to relax upstairs on our King, Cord, Chocolate Bean2Bed. Whether you’re relaxing with a book or working/surfing on a laptop [we love the free Wi-Fi at Urabn Coffee] you will have to try out the Bean2Bed upstairs next time you’re in. Although not so useful in a coffee shop setting, what makes our products unique is that they are actually a guest bed solution because all our products have BEDS inside! Yes, that’s right there’s a King size mattress inside that beanbag in-store. The transformation takes under 30 seconds- Beanbag by day, Bed by night! Once you’ve experience the Bean2Bed you’ll realise that it doesn’t actually contain any beans, rather a superior CMHR foam filling providing cloud-like comfort that moulds to the contours of your body. Please try not get crumbs from those wonderful scones on our beloved Bean2Bed but, fear not, if the worst happens the outer cover is fully machine washable!

We’re certainly not in a Bah Humbug spirit and, in fact, because all our products are made to order here in the UK we can only guarantee pre-Christmas delivery on orders received by Monday 14th December!
